Another gaming deluge is upon us and cresting the wave is Tim Schafer's Brütal Legend a story of Action, Adventure, and Metal!
The Dragon's Age character creator came out yesterday and I spent some time yesterday making potential characters in it just for a laugh. It's interesting it's given me almost nothing of the game and yet made me even more keen to play the thing just from the potential of each character.
So I've had problems in the past with DRM and buying games that then don't work because some piece of shit DRM software doesn't support the DVD drive I have or what ever and I thought a lot of these issues were in the past what with things like steam and online authentication.
So, I've accepted a job with Prisym ID as a Senior Software Developer. Hurrah. That's one thing sorted. I start on the 19th, which gives the little lad some time to arrive. He'll be late so go knows when I will start.
So I was off to Sea World this weekend for something to do and when I got finished parking I noticed something odd about the change I'd gotten from the guy on the gate. In amongst the ones and a five I had received in exchange for my 20 was a 2 dollar note.
I pretty quickly cracked, and I have a day off work today to await delivery of my brand new Focus Cayo 105 from Wiggle.
While watching the superb Gameswipe from Charlie Brooker it occurred to me that all those nay saying reports of gaming ruining children and turning them into psychopaths is just bollocks. It's a bollocks now as it was then.
A couple of years ago I wrote about the extinction of the Baiji — or Yangtze River Dolphin — and now, as the BBC reports, it looks like another large inhabitant of the Yangtze is on the verge of following it, if it hasn
