On Friday 16th of October at 05:00 Kate's waters broke. It began one of the most incredible and emotional 46.5 hours awake any person can experience. Nothing will be the same again but then nothing ever is. I am writing this as accurately as I can - Kate remembers only patches and I didn't check my watch that often.
You old bastard :P
No doubt there will be dancing cakes aplenty in the next five minutes or so...
Holy crap is this game pretty!
Is probably the first thing you'll notice when firing this ps3 exclusive up it is visually stunning with realtime in engine cut sequences that at points are almost indistinguishable from CGI. In game the visuals are no less stunning with some really wonderful scenes from lush tropical jungle to urban environments to snowy wastelands.
I have a feeling that this may be the general pattern of my winter...
Last night I finally finished Prototype on the xBox360, after having it sit around 80% complete for a week or so.

The Dragon's Age character creator came out yesterday and I spent some time yesterday making potential characters in it just for a laugh. It's interesting it's given me almost nothing of the game and yet made me even more keen to play the thing just from the potential of each character.
So I've had problems in the past with DRM and buying games that then don't work because some piece of shit DRM software doesn't support the DVD drive I have or what ever and I thought a lot of these issues were in the past what with things like steam and online authentication.
