2009 has been yet another remarkable year with some step changes. It's been invigorating, though and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. In some vaguely topical/chronological order...
Well, it probably will be...I doubt I'll be organised enough to do another one this close to the end of the year.

The first challenge when coming to play the long awaited Dragons Age was that Steam had gone and broken itself, it got stuck in a loop trying to update the games which meant I couldn't run any of them.
In August I did my first 100-mile cycle, and it very nearly broke me. I suffered horrendous saddle sore, had a huge calorie deficit, and pushed my knee over into injury...it really wasn't pleasant. I'd quite obviously ramped up my distance far too quickly.
From gearbox software who back in the day did all those half life add ons blue shift etc. comes this so called Role Play Shooter. It features a class system with various class specific ability upgrade paths (3 separate paths you can put points into for each class) and a parametric weapon system making each gun fairly unique.
