This post is as much for me and Felix as it is for you chaps. It's a record, reminder and a way to make sense of everything that's going on. I've been incognito for some time now and I hope to explain everything during the course of this post.
I really enjoyed Fable 2 it's wonderful graphics easy to pick up mechanics and "Just have fun" design made it very enjoyable and it improved on it's predecessor in almost every way. Recently Peter Molyeneux was discussing Fable 3 at microsoft's X10 event in san francisco and it sounds like this new sequel will take the series in some interesting directions.
So I flew back the other day, on my way through LAX I got selected for additional screening and was put in one of the new imaging machines. They zapped me with terahertz radiation for a bit and then decided I was safe. I suspect given what I’ve learnt from movies, games, and comic books this may lead to me developing super powers.
Seems like I’m ranting about discovery recently, anyway Solving History is some bloke called Olly Steeds going around “solving” mysterious history. He did an episode on Atlantis and then today it was the Nazca lines.
So this weekend was the superbowl, I didn’t watch it. I’m not sure what’s super about a bowl maybe it has some good cereal in it or something. This is the second time I’ve been out during the super bowl and not watched it, when I eventually move out here I suspect it will become a tradition.
I love discovery most of the time, mythbusters, dirty jobs, and all sorts of great shows but sometimes they go off the deep end.
One of the little perks of travelling abroad (which I guess I’ll have to give up when I move out here) is the meals. Because you are on your own away from family and friends living in a hotel room with no kitchen facilities people often take you out for a meal.
So I’m in the US again, the flight out could have been better, the entertainment system was broken and all we got was that map thing, and there were two babies opposite who spent quite a while screaming, but I’ve had worse flights.
So Mass Effect 2 biowares latest opus and middle part of the trilogy is out and I spent a good few hours playing it before I had to pack and get myself to heathrow for a business trip to LA. As a result it's going to be a while till I next play it.
So I’m off the the US for few weeks on Sunday, it’s a bit of a pain given the timing and it will put back the move for I would suspect at least a month but these things can’t be helped. Part of the reason I’m moving is because of these sudden trips out.
