Another one bites the dust
I have a dark tale for you, a tale of loss and strife, a tale of swords and sorcery eternal retold, of disease and death, and a quest for the new and exciting.

Wow. Just… wow.
I don’t know where to begin.
As you may have seen from my Twitter feed, I'm off to La Manga (Google it, it's a posh resort in Spain). It's the prize for an internal Yell awards thing called the Gold Awards, which as you've probably figued out I won yesterday. I have a little medallion on my desk to prove it and everything!
I was going to get a new bathroom, but you wouldn't believe how much they charge for those things. MFI gave a finger-in-the-air quote of £6,000! Even with my larger-than-expected bonus that's not really in my reach right now. So instead I've turned my attention to the garden, and plan to get that sorted out instead.
I finished reading Alan Moores Watchmen last night and I enjoyed it a great deal. I've never really been someone that was into comics much, when I was small I read thing like The Dandy and The Beano but when I got to my teens I stopped reading comics since most of the ones I had any contact with were for small kids.
It's my pleasure to announce that I will be running two Icar games at GenCon UK 2008. Click to read more and see a nice pic I did.
yesterday was a long day indeed. A long time ago I signed up to do the British London 10K. At the time I didn't consider what a 9.30 race time start meant...it turns out that it means getting up at 5am, being on a train at 20 past 6, and being in an immense throng of people for a couple of hours...
I'll do a full blog entry on my trip later on, there's a lot of stuff to get across and I'm adjusting back into UK life at the moment! In the mean time here's a pic which I promise does contain a Chameleon. Prize for the first one to locate. ;o)
