Not yet out of stock...

Every cloud, they say, has a silver lining. today should be Pieday, however due to everyone being lightweights it's not, so I ended up wandering round the Oracle, only to see that Game had Wii Fit in stock!

My initial skepticsm proved unfounded...I queued up with my display box, fully expecting to be told it was some kind of pre-order scam, only to find out that about half of Games stock had been made non-preorder (I quizzed the sales guy when I got to the front, as I was genuinely surprised to see them on shelves), as they wanted to make sure that the "non gamer customers" could get hold of it. Its a nice concept, and one that I agree with, even moreso as I've just taken some non-gamers fun away...

There was a big old queue, and most people were buying it, so I doubt their stock is going to last much longer, and then its down to Nintendos supply chain (which could rightly be called into question, after the insane success of the Wii) to get more in.

Its a heavy old chunk of kit...not opened it up yet, but will be doing s tonight, and undoubtedly making a complete fool of myself for the rest of the evening :-)
