Postcards from Minecraft - June 2015

During some recent wanders in our shared virtual world, I snapped this and that. Let's start with my Vertical Slum project, a medieval village thing that goes up rather than down. I'm rather pleased with how this turned out. This is the superstructure. The buildings are all working but I want to put in better walkways and staircases higher up on the inside. I'll also start working on the interiors of all those buildings. Much to do and lots and lots of resources to collect for it.

Looking south, as you approach along the side of the Uberstore.

Looking west. The pub on the top needs both a name and a little more support. I think I might sneak in another house on the wall here too. While building, it's very difficult to see what's jutting out of where!

And now east. The jutty-out bit on the left was originally going to go to a tower on the other side of the valley. I have some ideas for the valley that I might have to do first.

Pete's Pyramid and Uberstore. I think the Uberstore needs some prettying up. The roof is just big and dull. Needs sorting.

Cloudship Atlantis looking south. You can see that there is only really one more space for a building on here. The aim is to fill that and then be done with it!

Cloudship Atlantis looking North. There's only a small space on the stern left. Not sure what do with that just now.

Glass Lake (north) as of 13th June. The entire section is now glass and it's being dug under while I wait for cacti and wool.

Rather sad to see this fire damage, from rainless lightning in the village. It's very rare, so I don't mind fixing them up.

From our adventure last Sunday, EMW (on the right) leads Big R (on the left) up a cliff for no obvious reason. WE'RE LOOKING FOR HORSES, LADS! ;-)
