Fee for processing the fee to approve the fee paid on the fee

It seems to do this rental thing there are a lot of palms that need greasing. Since I’m not going to be in the country and I don’t have anyone local who is foolish enough to get lumbered with the chore I’m having some outfit manage my flat for me. This obviously costs and they get a cut of my rental income.

Then there are various bills for the various bits of paper that I need to rent the thing legally and if I get those through the management firm they naturally take some sort of cut.

I also have to pay various outfits that sort out the building (as the flat is leasehold) just for approval to rent it out.

So it soon becomes a lot of fees and admin costs that I need to pay just for the right to rent out the flat that I supposedly own. It all makes for a lot of expense I’d rather not have to pay considering I have a load of other expenses that will be starting up when I get out to the US. Though that’s assuming I get there which what with volcanos and strikes making flying pretty unreliable is somewhat in doubt.

The other weekend I had a little send off drink which I forgot to mention but since most of the people that read this were there anyway I expect it didn’t matter too much. It was nice to see everyone and enjoy a few pints. The evening ended a bit oddly in the after dark club where they were having an 80′s night where I was informed by a woman in the queue for the cloak room that I need to watch the tv show Bones as it is and I quote “awesome!”.

I've found that selling is a lot less fun and buying and seems to involve many more forms... That said its amazing what can be done with photos: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-29916536.html
