New Year's Eve Party?

The better half and I were chatting about what to do about New Year. We decided that it might be a good idea to run a party at the house, seeing that there's plenty of room. If I were to throw a party in Lower Earley, who'd be up for it? There will be room to stay over for those not daring enough to try and make it home. Alternatively, I think the Night Buses (which run from nearby) will be running on that night.

Who's about and would be up for that?

Comments

I'd be up for that...

I'm provisionally up for that, however my organisational skills that far in advance are less than awesome...

Brilliant. We'll play some games, have a bit of a laugh, listen to music and mock the television. Pezza and Zwei will be about too and they love a party.

I'd be about and quite possibly up for that. Would there be crashing potential as taxis are insanely expensive then.

Nibbles's picture

I am possibly up for that too. Would need to crash over.

There is a fold-out double sofabed thing that would be ideal if you wished to bring Aurelie.

brainwipe's picture

Nibbles, indeed! Loads of crashing potential. We have airbeds and loads of room.

Elle va etre en France pour la nouvelle année. The sofa bed still sounds nice though! :-)

I still need to work out what's going on over xmas, but I should be around for this.

I think Baron said she's in France??

I'm up for a party, it was only yesterday when talking to Brynrie that I released it be ages since I've seen the Reading crowd.

Cool. You might be sharing a bed with Baron, in that case but then you could wear skirts, put some canvas over the top of you and it'd just be like a night as Quiche! :)

brainwipe's picture

I've never worn a skirt Rob, your the only man I know that frequently dresses in womens clothing and then tries to use the excuse of fancy dress to cover for you.

I've also more importantly never shared a bed with Baron, a tent yes but never a bed.

I went out dressed as a girl once for Halloween. Wasn't a great plan, I got chatted up and then Lumpy and I got sick eating my tits (apples) as a post club snack.

Not sure if I'm going to be at this end of the country or not yet, but if I am, I'd be well up for this. Weather and inebriation will determine whether I need a corner of floor to crash on, or attempt the walk home. :)

AggroBoy's picture

Ok mate, I think there will be enough floor for everyone.

brainwipe's picture

I could offer space at mine, but I live about 15 miles away, and can't drive a car
:-D

babychaos's picture

So what you're saying is, if I can walk out to your place, I can crash on the floor?
Sounds like a plan! :)

AggroBoy's picture

Yep...of course you'll probably have to walk past your own house to get there, though I suppose you could take a short cut, and walk down the motorway!

babychaos's picture

I already know half the route? Even better!

AggroBoy's picture

I would probably be around for that.

Fish! FABULOUS! I half assumed you'd be elsewhere causing mayhem but it would be SUPERB to have you along. :)

Hurrah!
