24 hour RPG Competition

I've spammed the rest of the internet and don't see why you shouldn't get off scot free!

I'm going to try and write a complete RPG in 24 hours. It's a challenge that's been on the web since about 2004 but I've decided to try and run a competition, with £30 of Amazon vouchers as the first prize.

I'm going to do it in June, pick a weekend and start Saturday morning and keep going until I'm done. It's going to be epic.

Anyone else fancy giving it a go? The rules are here.

By this do you mean an actual Roleplay game (mechanics etc), a setting or a campaign storyline? By understanding of "write an RPG" would be to come up with a game mechanic, which would make it hard to have characters/themes...

Yep, the whole lot. Mechanics, setting, campaign, sample adventure. Everything. In 24 hours.

Oh and your definition of RPG is just you.

So could you (for example) build a module for the D20 system or GURPS?

//added. Just realised that this probably sounds like me being me, however it's not in this case. I've been thinking over a discussion the Descent group have been holding with respect to game balance with campaign mechanisms, and I've been having a think about possible ways to work around this, however its almost exclusively an mechanics problem, and completely un-related to theme and other peripheral fluff, and so from the sounds of it not really suitable for this...

Nope, no modules. Complete game. Of course, you're more than welcome to do whatever you want in your own time but for it to be 24 Hour RPG, it needs to obey the rules of the competition and the 24 hour RPG rules, which is to have a complete, ready to play RPG.
