Looks like there's a version of GH (On Tour) coming to the Nintendo DS. It comes with a peripheral which gives you 4 (only 4?) fret buttons, strumming is by tapping the screen with a stylus.
Why couldn't this have come out before the world trip? That way I'd not have had to fight the craving to go and make a fool of myself every time we went into a HMV...

Indeed with this you could have made a fool of yourself anywhere ;)
How is your DS doing have you tried a game on it yet?
Nah, no money for games, saving up for a biiiiig PC upgrade ;)
Play have it on preorder. Not as expensive as I was expecting...
I guess it's just a few microswitches
I can imagine playing this anywhere in public would be quite humiliating
wonder if they'll include multiplayer
A very good question...
Yeah, but a few microswitches usually means $$$ in console land...
Mwah ha ha:
(4)Local Wireless options to include: Co-Op, Face Off, Pro Face Off, & Battle Mode
from here
cool we can have GH face off's anywhere
It's one of those things that you just can't believe. You got a DS, Byrn?
I have. Picked it up in japan for a bit less than it would have been over here.
Only thing is, I didn't pick up any games as they'd all be in japanese ;)
So, you're gameless? Is the DS cool, though?
The calander and pictochat are pretty nice ;)
Probably need a game for a full impression though :D
Played who wants to be a millionaire in both french and english on A's cousin's DS. Seems like a gadget.
She also had some card with loads of old school nintendo games that was quite cool too.
Speak to Skunty about DS games... Really, make that a priority!
I could bring Mario Kart DS for you to try out next time your at cadets, if you want. Its probably my favourite game, although I only actually have 2...
What Nibbles said. Really...
Can you get Skunty to post up on here, I'd be interested to read it.

oh dear 5/10
Damning.
It sounds like an equal mix of problems with the hardware and software
if it were all niggles with the peripheral that might be fixable but if there are fundamental problems with the game that's more complex.
