Some of the remakes or re imaginings have been crap that bionic woman thing was pretty dire
This looks like it might be OK. It's a bit odd that they got Val Kilmer to be the voice of kitt.

Really, is that Val Kilmer. I think they should have got another camp voice, like Dale Winton or something.

They apparently had another guy in mind but he was the voice for GM trucks adverts or some such and GM got mad that he was promoting a ford so they had to redo it all at the last minute
I guess Val Kilmer had nothing better todo.

Saw the pilot last night - it was actually pretty good. Not so much a reimagining, as a remake. It's pretty much the same thing, just set now instead of then.

I just watched it, I thought it was quite fun.
It had all the usual stuff a stereotypical evil English bad guy who is totally psychotic, the same trick photography as the original series with some tarted up CGI on it, gratuitous car porn with cameras swinging around to the best angles to show off how shiny the mustang is, and of course complete disregard for physics.
It even had hastlehoff briefly and Val Kilmer does a good job as the voice.
I guess it will be a question of how the series pans out but it looked promising.

Pleased that Aggro and EMW have got nice things to say about it. It could have been dreadful.
