Don't know about anyone else, but my internet connection has been unbeliveably crap for the last few weeks, dropping out, not connecting or connecting at very low speeds. Its even gone back to dropping the connection when my landline rings, which probably means they've screwed up my line attenuation to the point where it barely works.
I'm in two minds over wether to stay with them till the holiday or switch and be done with it.

Well I think you know my opinion of Tiscali...
As an update, Aurélie recieved a letter and phone call from a debt collectors agency for the £29.
Nice one. Good to know that's resolved.
I'm definately switching at some point... just a question of when.
adsl 24 seem to have a decent track record with customer care.
Once again I can heartily recomend UKFSN, never a blip in sight.
Touch wood-styled veneer, my Tiscali connection has been fine since it went live June last year. Haven't had to use the customer service so far (booked online, and no drops as yet). I don't P2P in the evenings anyway (normally run it overnight or during the day) so probably wouldn't feel any "traffic-shaping technology" effects.
I don't know if my remoteness from the main urban area of Reading would benefit me in this?
UKFSN, Be and ADSL24 are all on the list to look at...
It might well be a good thing you live in the middle of nowhere mate. The exchange was probably converted more recently, so you might have less problems.
