Minecraft probably has the most mods of any game, ever. So ray tracing will of course also be moddable, enabling players to generate endless ray traced content for themselves and others
Only Java is the most modded, but they do state it's Win 10 edition. Until feature parity or crossplay comes along, that means little to me.

yeah it looks lovely but if they don't do it on the java version or add the missing features to the win10 version it's not very useful
Also, to show of the tech, they've put SO MUCH raytracing on.... I mean so much... it doesn't look like MC anymore. A lot of people on Reddit/Twitter are reeling about how it doesn't look like MC anymore.
You can get a lot of lovely by having just a little bit (like the non-RT shader tech) and for it to still look like MC!
I liked some of the subtler effects of the slight reflection on wood the textured patterns on the bark. Not so much a fan of the water
