If we ever want to try it again.
I grabbed this description from Reddit, which seems to suggest it can be a bit of a waiting game:
If you're running solo, you blow up the bikes then run to the apartment door. You might have to sit on the marker for quite a long time, but eventually it will trigger.
A part of it seems random, because sometimes if you can't get in through the door, you can try the garage and get in no problem. Most of the time however it didn't work for me.
The only absolute 100% way of getting in straight away that I found is killing yourself after the bikes, then running for the garage marker as soon as you respawn and entering before the bikes are blown up, so you basically have to be faster than your explosive-happy teammates.
But honestly I can count the number of times I had to resort to suicide on one hand. 99% of the time if you camp on the apartment door marker long enough, you'll get in.

hmmm ok well maybe next time we can give that a go with that appartment just there near the bikes if we can get the karuma at that point it would make things easier
I also read a post which made reference to the parachutes being unreliable on that jump, which given the nature of the heist seems pretty game breaking to me; it wouldn't surprise me if the glitch has been left in just because the heist it so unreliable.
I'd try it again but I'm not going to burn an entire evening over and over again. It's just not fun. I'd rather we give it a couple of goes and then do something else for a while.
I hope it won't be too much trouble to get the kuruma now, we were very close the one time the trick worked. I would like to complete it properly, but I just don't think that it is an option with the parachutes.
I think if we can get the karuma we should be able to do it now we know the tricks and techniques the only thing that made it fail was the inability to get into the apartment and if that's just keep retrying until it works we can do that, especially if it's possible on that bike section
