Palmer luckey always struck me as a bit of a douche bag especially after the kickstarted money to sellout facebook billions shenanigans and definitely some of the things he's said and done have not been great PR moves the price debacle the touch delays the comment that they will make a mac rift 'when Apple makes a good computer' while true mac's don't do games let alone VR it's not exactly the best way to phrase that to a potential consumer group
it's telling that he's been pushed out of the public PR of Oculus in favour of more media savvy people but it seems even given that he's upset a bunch of people by spending his filthy facebook lucre running an alt-right pro trump outfit doing "shit posters" to put down clinton

This has upset a bunch of VR dev's who've pulled oculus rift support until Luckey steps down from Oculus
Now most of them are small time with the exception of Insominac games I've never heard of most of these so chances are this will blow over and it is up to him how he spends his ill gotten gains. The way things are going he doesn't need to waste money on pro trump stuff he's likely got this one in the bag anyway.
still I wonder how long it will be before Luckey is quietly "retired" to "spend more time with his family" it's not like he's needed at oculus anymore and a as a figure head he leaves a lot to be desired

WOW, that's terrible PR. Absolutely catastrophic. Trump is a scary prospect but I think business decisions should be separate from the political views of a single person at the company. It's not TrumpVR and it's owned by a company that's constantly barraged for being Pro-Clinton.
Yeah it's a bit odd that he's being singled out in this way since there are plenty of supporters on either side at the heads of companies. Maybe its the way he's not supporting trump as such he's just bashing clinton with these put down meme's and various manipulations of social media which is a pretty shady business
Supposedly Luckey is now denying he supports trump through this shady organisation saying he only gave them a small amount of money ($10000 which I guess is small if you are a billionaire) and that he is planning to vote for the libertarian candifate Gary Johnson (who has no chance in hell of getting elected) which makes it a bit odd he would donate to a far right trump supporting organisation who fund weird anti clinton bill boards and meme stuff on redit.
In another twist the author of the original article about this is publishing emails supposedly from Luckey showing he is behind the thing.
