Psychonauts the cult classic weirdly wonderful platformer from tim schaffer and doublefine could be getting a sequel via crowdfunding.
They are using the new platform fig which was put together by a bunch of successful kickstarter fundies who got tired of giving a chunk of change to kickstarter so started their own crowdfunding thing.
Fig also allows some actual investment with returns for special people which differentiates it a little
anyway they want 3.3 mil for the sequel and as of now they have 1.4mil already with 33 days to go so guess it's pretty likely at this stage.
I really enjoyed psychonauts even tho it had a few rough edges so having a sequel would be cool
