I for one welcome our rope weaving flying robot overlords and hope I don't get trapped in a giant woven web or net trap which is the next logical step in their plan
1) Pretty decent battery life
2) The modern take on Gullivers Travels will be very, very different.

If I didn't hoon around a field with my quads, I'd get 20 mins of battery life.

They are carrying a reasonable payload in the rope, which must be putting a fair bit of additional strain on the motors.

True but the movements are quite gentle. If you keep vertical acceleration down then battery life can be quite good. Even so, buy more quads and when one runs out, have another ready to go.
