one thing a lot of people have pointed out about these videos is these are the clips where the thing worked rather than the thousand where the thing fell over and crashed into a tree :D
After watching some of the darpa robotics challenge with the humanoid robots it became very apparent how basic in terms of capabilities these machines are at the moment. They're around the baby level of development unstable slow mostly ugly make a lot of noise and fall down for no reason.
We've come a long way but there's still a very long way to go before we all get robot butlers.

Simply spray a small child silver, and train him to bring you tea. Simple, effective, and environmentally friendly.
