You might not know Scott H, he's a blogger and works for Microsoft on their tech team. He blogs in equal amounts about Microsoft Tech, Coding, Open Source hardware and, you know, fun stuff.
He's very creative, in that he spends a lot of time creating and sharing those creations and I admire that. This blog post has some wishy-washy bits but there are some other nuggets I found useful - you might too!

I've spent a good hour or so reading through all of this, and got nothing done!
(ta daa...thank you. I'll be here all day etc etc)
HA HA! Did you find anything of use in there?
Not really... I work on the theory that you can waste an awful lot of time over-organising your life. Get the basics in place (food, sleep, work), keep your pipeline down to 3-4 items max (my work schedule is on a Post-It note stuck to my monitor...once something is done it's crossed off, and something else is added...occasionally I need a new Post-It note), and make sure there is plenty of spare time to deal with JFDI stuff. Block in time for stuff that matters, without being too prescriptive about what specifically happens in those blocks. Don't worry about offloading tasks that you don't want to, or are not suited to doing.
I'm well aware I have a very easy life.
