You've got to love SOE, they keep changing stuff. Some of it is for balance, some of it is brand new. Some of it is small things that help, others are HUGE changes. They do these game updates every month and are constantly trying to improve the game. I really respect that. They're not sitting on their laurels at all.
The cynic in my would suggest that many of the updates are revenue generating but that doesn't seem to hold. Each update has a new weapon or two but the vast majority of change is to useability and balance.
One of the big changes that is coming (not in this update) is a change from the hex-capture system to a lattice. That will make ghost capping go away and form more direct battle lines. Wonderful! There's a public test server where players can test it out and although I've not had a go, peeps I've spoken to say it's a huge change - for the better!

The other thing I love about PS2 at the moment is the Mobile Uplink app for tablets (Android and Mac!). I can turn my Nexus 7 in a separate screen that gives the map/tactical display. It's early days for the app at the moment but I have found it really useful. It doesn't auto refresh the map but that's coming in the next update.
