Muse do a good job, it's not a bad song but it's more than a bit mental. When I heard that Muse had done it, I did wonder if it would have a rocking bass line, it doesn't. As such, it sounds a bit like Queen. No bad thing, just a surprise.

It sounds a little bit like "song by committee". I suspect that they were told to slow it down a bit as part of the brief, which has brought on the Mercury'esque vocal sections.
It would be interesting to see what the requirements they were given as part of the job were...
