Some comercial salvage crews in sweden found this object on side scan sonar at the bottom of the baltic sea and no ones sure what it is. It seems to be a disk shape with another smaller disk near it. The larger disk has a diameter about the same as the length of a 747.
There is also what appears to be drag marks leading to the disk for some 400 feet along the bottom.
The divers are hoping to go take a look at the object in may time when the seas are calm enough for that sort of work but until then it's something of a mystery. Some people have suggested it was a russian ship design (which was disk like) that sank out there but most of them were only half that size. Also it could be the method used to get the sonar images which can produce artifacts. Well jus thave to wait and see what it is they've found
