I think this is more cock up than divine conspiracy to corrupt the justice system
But just maybe if I believe enough I can ... yes I can feel my DNA changing all through positiveness thinking it's almost there! ... No just wait it was just wind my mistake.

To be fair most brands of religion cause an not insignificant IQ drop. I for one suggest we get on top of this threat to our nation by enforcing mutant registration!

I wonder if he actually believes his own rhetoric?

@Skunty - I love it when you dive into the right wing. Further right than Hitler.
@EMW - You're probably write, I bet the scientific evidence for this is entirely anecdotal.
MrE - If he believes in a wizard who sent his son to be murdered by barbarians then I'm sure he can believe in just about anything. Including ice shields.

Only because a devils advocate that pulls their punches isn't acheiving anything.
I don't actually advocate registration of religious belief, i was quite annoyed when i found out the mrs had filled in the census form with anything other than 'mind your own damned business'.

hmmm thinking about the implications of this further it would suggest Christianity isn't a religion it's a genetic defect
Finally using gene therapy we can cure these poor unfortunates where nature has let them down science can save them from a life wasted singing hymns and doing brass rubbings and ... all the other symptoms of christianity syndrome

If it is a genetic defect, I'm going to find myself agreeing with Hitler a bit. That isn't good.

I'm not suggesting we start rounding up all the christians and put them in camps and gas them.
I'm just saying its the logical extension of that guys assertion
Instead of the death camps we could go for prebirth screening stop this debilitating disease in it's tracks. Those that already suffer from the condition could also finally get the help they need now we know it's a disease not a lifestyle choice. Sufficient doses of psycotropic drugs and regular shock therapy could allow these individuals to lead almost normal lives.
Please send all your money to the end Christianity now foundation and we can wipe this debilitating disease out in the western world within a few generations. For as little as 20 a month you can sponsor a christian and help them get the specialist care they need to live a normal life. They will send you regular letters on their progress and how their life has been free'd up now they don't have to go to church anymore, no longer forced to believe outrageous and contradictory things, and also can change the channel to something more interesting when Songs of Praise comes on.
