MineCraft update coming next week

They will be introducing beds! which will allow you to skip the night. This is phase 1.

More interestingly in phase 2 coming later they will rebind your spawn point which will have an interesting effect on how the game plays.

Beyond the bed some interesting new blocks

basically half block equivalents in cobbles stone and sandstone

Also the redstone repeater a single block that replaces the normal redstone repeater circuit but it's also configurable to act as both a delay and a diode and only takes up one space
