Dragons Age Origins Darkspawn Chronicles Is pretty good fun

Downloaded this last night for 400 bioware points which is 3 quid or so not very long but a lot of fun. So far the addons have been a bit hit and miss this one is a lot of fun tho.

It's set in an alternate history where your character dies in the joining ceremony and alistair has to go on on his own. Now you take control of a hurlock commander who is mostly a warrior but with the ability to "recruit" up to 3 other darkspawn of various types. As they watch you fight they get inspired and better in battle.

This game basically runs at the end game point of the main game campaign except rather than defending the city of deneram from darkspawn attack you are razing the place to the ground guided by the arch demon. At first you just get regular grunt darkspawn but as you progress you get specials like a ogre and a shriek (stealth monster) and much fun can be had using the various powers to kill off the filthy human/elves/dwarves/misc. You work your way through the various districts of denerim with most of the major characters from the game acting as bosses.

By the end of the pack you will have put the whole lot of the companions from the main campaign to the sword which is pretty good fun :D
