Irish company Steorn are still banging on about their perpetual motion machine Orbo (thought they call it an over unity machine a concept which was invented so quacks could call their perpetual motion machine something else) despite failing to demonstrate the thing for the past 6 years and and a 22 scientist jury declaring there was no evidence of energy production they are still banging on about an idea that violates some of the most fundamental principles of science.
this video shows orbo in all it's glory it looks to me like a bunch of magnets glued to plastic (hmmm a bit like byrn's magnet cannon :D ). It looks like some kids attempt to build a perpetual motion machine a motor and then a coil on the top feeding energy back into the battery powering the motor not exactly a new idea and one that has been proven not to work many many many times. Simple test isolate it from all power sources (including thing like heat from lights some of these things are tricky it wouldn't be that hard to hide a photo voltaic array in all that frosted plastic) and then see how long it runs. Bet the battery goes flat eventually.
you can also watch a live feed of the thing running http://www.steorn.com/ I suspect it will run for quite a while that motor had no load on it and the battery looked like something pretty powerful I suspect when it starts to run a little flat they'll be some routine maintenance and they'll quietly swap out the battery
These people are slowly moving from the possibly delusional category to more likely scam artist trying to get funding
