In order to raise awareness about the US's "interrogation" techniques Amnesty international decided to torture a poor out of work actor and video it. This shows what the CIA call the stress position, which is an approved "interrogation" technique used in the war on terror, which is obviously in reality torture. They put the bloke in it for six hours and then recorded his (real) pain, talk about method acting it's disturbing to hear.
That a so called civilised society can subject people to that no mater what they may or may not have done is sickening, it makes them as bad if not worse than the terrorists. Torture is counter productive anyway we banned it years ago, and then it was not because of the moral implications but because under torture people will say anything to make the pain stop no mater if it's true or not.
