Some guy over at CNBC is quite literally making stuff up about the price comparisons between mac and pc. He seems to think that all macs come with photoshop free ... something which adobe would probably not be down with given most versions of photoshop cost more than a pc or mac. I also found his characterisation of pc's a stripped down interesting especially since he included the premium brands like sony who I feel are more in the mac category in that you are paying for the label as much as the machine itself where as with a HP or a Dell not so much they are commodity more or less with lenovo somewhere inbetween.
All of these sorts of patently ridiculous claims are not really helping consumers, the whole price thing is a complicated issue and simple mac/pc are cheaper is overly simplifying it.
