It's about fucking time. Hopefully by 2012 the question "does anyone have a charger with them?" will be dead and buried. I had it easy with Nokia (as all the company phones are the same, and they generously gave a converter when they changed connector size), but generally it's all a bit shit right now.

...of course, by 2012 they will all be running off fuel cells probably...

I was quite happy with motorola for a while as all their phones used the usb-b mini port which a lot of things use and makes it easy to charge then the switch it out for something no standard and annoying on their new one ... bastards.

Interestingly, the iPhone/Blackberry crowd don't seem to be in there? I might be wrong about the Blackberry (not 100% sure on the manufacturer), but Apple certainly don't seem to be mentioned...

I'm assuming here that Apple make their own hardware...

Fuck blackberry and we all know that Apple are wankers. iPhones charge off their special USB lead.

Blackberry use mini usb, I only know as I have borrowed chargers for my HTC

There's an update on this! The telcoms are going to start this in 2010.
