After failing to demonstrate the technology (which physics says will never work) last year they are now offering 300 people the chance to learn about it and replicate the thing themselves. So far no one has seen a picture or video or any sort of evidence that this thing works at all.
Either these guys are con men or seriously self deluded

Con men gets my vote. They get some capital and then run off to Brazil.
That or they have actually tapped some strange force we've not yet discovered. Quite possible!
Some of the smarter ones do things in phases
the first announcement is made lots of press lots of publicity typically along the lines of "Maverick inventor discovers free energy" some byline about needing money to develop the idea throw in a few bits about quantum physics and magnets. Collect bags of money from unwary investors
step 2 announce your first prototype lots of misleading sketches and pomp and ceremony if possible line up crooked expert to say that they have witnessed said technology and that it is better than sliced bread collect more bags of money then on the eve of the demo announce some sort of set back problems with the prototype etc and go quiet again.
Step 3 keep inventing new milestones and new set backs that mean you can't meet them, maybe fake some stuff video etc that make it look like you are making progress keep collecting bags of money almost indefinitely
Eventually people will realise you are a bunch of snake oil salesman but it can take decades and the trick is to keep hooking new fish and or reinventing the company often enough that you stay ahead of the bad press.
