Just got an email with my key in ... which probably means they'll release it this week.

I've played a couple of evenings for this and it isn't bad but it isn't great either.
You have a choice of three classes and create a character in a set class, you can have upto four characters on an account. The appearance of the character is customisable with clothing and accessories which are bought using points which cost real cash. These customisations seem to have a 1 month life, which seems harsh. Characters gain XP which lets you level up and gain/improve skills. These are mostly shortlived bonuses which recharge over a number of seconds. Weapons/med packs/vehicle repairs can also be purchased for VP. VP are gained for completing objectives and missions etc. You can purchase weapons for 7days or a month and the med packs etc have 25 uses. You get three mission slots which you can work at at one time so you have to pick how you are going to focus you efforts mostly between vehicles, infantry at ctf. This works quite well as you you get updates on progress as you make kills etc on the right hand side of the screen. With many other games you have some many things going on it can be hard to remember where your trying to focus you efforts. Where it fails is that once a mission completes you have to exit your game to add another mission to the slot. All three maps are ctf and are well put together but the lack of a decent rotation is a problem. There is one vehicle heavy map, one infantry heavy and one balanced. Gameplay is quick and fun with cartoony graphics buwith the current lack of diversity in maps and classes it has a short life span. Also it has gone for a console style server allocation in so far as you have no choice of map or player count, it does apparently match you players at a similar xp level.
For some reason I have been sent a second beta key, first person to email me can have it. The inital setup was a pain in the arse. It involved updating my exisiting old EA account, adding the beta key to my account. Then setting up an account for the game, downloading the game, setting up a player (this was difficult as despite character names being 4 - 20 characters it fails if it is less than 7, with no explanation.) Every time you play you have to login through both accounts, making saved username and passwords a must.
