86 Billion to buy would cost somewhere in the region of $2334.90 the cool thing is that CCP the developers won't get involved as they see this as an in game theft and hence part of the game.

They'll just leave it to the ingame forensic acountants to track the money and then dispatch the ingame fraud officers to arrest the culprit subject them to the ingame court then put them in the ingame prison staffed by ingame prison officers.
And with eve I've no doubt someone somewhere will be playing those roles

LOL, I love this. For the same reason I love Chom (save the bugs). You've got a load of people playing nice and a load of people playing nasty. Really nasty. There's no rules on etiquette, so the whole system is self organising. Beautiful.
The very fact that this can happen in game makes want to try Eve a little bit more.

The trouble is with eve (that I found others may disagree) is that although the self organizing higher level game is quite sophisticated it is mostly inaccessible to someone not willing to spend every waking moment invested in the game. There is so much grind to achieve even the smallest things things that you never seem to get anywhere.
It's like real life, some people get to be rock stars but most people spend their lives grinding away in the mines (in life usually figuratively ... in eve actually. ).
How to replicate eve set your windows background to a picture of a rock with a space craft orbiting then leave it for the rest of the night periodically click the mouse when the screen saver kicks in. Congrats you now have played eve.
