This is just daft, a complete and total world wide recall and reissue of the game that was due out this coming Friday (earlier in the US they release Wednesday I believe) over two references in the backing music of one of the levels which isn't even their IP and is just licensed stuff currently available off of itunes (the person who gets the royaltys is probably thanking their lucky stars for this as they will likely get loads more notice just from being "The banned song too shocking for sony to release").
They didn't do this over the Church of England bullshit claims about their use of a cathedral for Resistance, now they are doing it for some even more flimsy reason with a massive recall of all the copies they have made and having to completely remake and reissue the game (as a result pushing back the release a week). Admittedly CoE isn't known for being all that violent a strongly worded letter to the times is about their limit.
Ps3 is crying out for a decent exclusive to really give it some impetus and a lot of people had pegged little big planet the last thing the ps3 needs is more bad press. I can't say I've ever been convinced lbp fitted as a title to pin all hopes on but still it is the most interesting exclusive they have got.
