I've been collecting free RPG stuff for ages now. Ever since Rob Barrows epic 'Entalis' disappeared from the net, I've been downloading free RPGs and sticking them in a folder on my computer. Yags, Jags, Fudge, Fate and so on. I also do a lot of egosurfing for Icar, that is putting "Icar rpg" into Google and seeing who is linking to it and what people are saying. Often not a great deal but it does let me help people sporadically. I sometimes feel a bit gutted that people aren't reviewing Icar more, after all it is a complete game and is actually free.
While egosurfing different terms, I often come up with other Free RPGs with poor authors also not getting reviewed and I thought I might suggest swapping reviews for places like RPG.net but then making a trade is difficult for something you would do anyway. So, I set up a blog for it.
It's published every Tuesday and Friday and I write it in my lunch breaks, so it doesn't take much time. I'm about 4 posts ahead and Blogger is really good for scheduling, so I can set them to run when I like.
I haven't integrated it into Lack-Of because it's a bit niche. If you think it should be integrated into the Lack-Of feed then let me know.
