Looks very snacky but I'd need to see it and play with it. Never buy the first version of anything.
Specs:
phone is 4.6 x 2.16 x 0.63 inches,
weighs 5.6 ounces,
features a 480 x 320 HVGA display,
sports 3G (obviously),
GPS,
has a 3.1-megapixel camera,
supports up to 8GB of memory (though no format is mentioned),
and will feature 5 hours of talktime with 130 hours of standby.
Strangely, the phone won't do video capture (what?),
won't have stereo Bluetooth,
will require a Gmail account,
and won't be sold at stores outside of a 2-5 mile radius of T-Mobile's 3G coverage areas.
That last bit sounds a little odd to us, but we're guessing a lot of the functionality of this device will be shot in non-3G regions.

That's their T-mobile branded HTC Dream, isn't it? Looks nice.
Yes, it is. HTC are the first on the Android band wagon. The form factor is not quite as nice as the iPhone but I think it will do well for shedding the shackles of Apple's bullshit.
ooo that looks interesting
pity I'm o2 but maybe they'll join the fun too
at least by the time my current contract expires in 2029 or whenever it is in this game of constantly extending contracts
Hmm, nice.
Pity its got a camera though...
The real joy of it is that phones like this will be popping up all over the place because it's loads of manufacturers that will be making phones with android. At first, it might be a single carrier but it won't be tied, there's no point!
