So I did my democratic duty when I got home from work taking a walk over to the nearby polling station and discovered the reason for feeling a bit off today was due to what ever pollen occasionally gives me hay fever was out in force. So by the time I got home.
A hay fever pill some tea and a lie down later I took a look at the news.
It really is a load of rubbish absolutely nothing happens till about 11pm then they get a trickle of seats come in (so far 2) but they still need to keep the constant coverage and stupid graphics going non stop. They might as well not bother and then have a program for those who care when the results really start coming in. Or stick it all on news 24 that no one cares.
It's also amazing how much they can pull from only two results the graphs and figures and rubbish about the swing is crazy. It's statistical wanking it means nothing because they have too few data points almost any conclusion could be reached.
The exit poll is predicting a hung parliament which would be awesome something new if either red or blue win it's just business as usual. Seems like there might be some issues with people not getting to vote due to cockups and queues so it's all drama.

So the tory Ed Vaisey got in in my constituency
The bloke I voted for from (lib dem the lemon chicken party acording to their logo) came second but as they say that doesn't count for much.
I wasn't expecting the tories to topple there are lot of farms and villages with rich people traditional tory voters.
But that's it for me I'm not staying in the country after that result I'm off :D
